For TV shows, the folder structure can be very important. TV Show episodes are stored in their own folder as follows: /TV Shows/Show Name/Season/episodes e.g., /TV Shows/Dexter/Season 01/Dexter s01e01.mp4. TV Show episodes are named with the season and episode: Show Name Sx圎yy e.g., Dexter s01e01.mp4. Movies are named as follows: MovieName (ReleaseYear) e.g., Avatar (2009).mp4. Movies are gathered together in a “Movies” type folder, TV Shows in a “TV Shows” type folder, etc.

Hours and hours sitting in front of my Mac copying, pasting, moving, deleting, hour after hour just beating on my Mac in a endless assault to get my work done. No it was because of the music production I do on it. There is a reason why I bought a Mac, it was not to be one of the cool kids that wanted the best of the best. Here's a the last version of Plex Media Server that runs on MacOS Lion 10.7.5 system. Good news, I DO use my brain from time to time to cover my ass. Shit, aaaand now my daughter is screaming at me to play her Little Einstein videos.

What happened after the upgrade terrified me a finder error stared at me saying this version of Plex Media Server is not capable of running on Lion, you must now have Mountain Lion. Today I launched my plex media server running on my 2007 MacMini running MacOS Lion 10.7.5 and a big orange button said 'UPDATE AVAILABLE.' Seeing that, I decided to stop using my brain and click it in excitement for all the potential new greatness that awaited (even tho my server ran rock solid already). It uses a Server to house your media library and player Apps to playback the media. Plex is a media playback system that makes it simple to enjoy your movies, TV shows, music, pictures, and internet-based content.
